Being a designer, I have always valued making spaces resonating with my client vision and desires and making that personality shine out in every corner of the room. With all that, a project comes once in a while, where clients dare me to step out of my comfort zone-turning-the-tables, so to speak-and then led me to take chances and adopt bolder choices that I might not have considered on my own. And let me tell you, it’s rare but refreshing.

I have learned that while designing from someone’s taste is different from crafting an environment that surprises both client and self, there is a lot of reward when being pushed to think bigger, bolder, and more creatively.
