The New Museum, the contemporary temple of New York, is preparing itself for an even bigger revolution. The new extension will have its maiden screening in the fall of 2025. With a 60,000-square-foot addition, the expansion will double the gallery area of the museum but will also change how visitors will interact with modern art. Together with the prestigious architecture firm OMA, led by Shohei Shigematsu and Rem Koolhaas, it promises to be a miracle of architecture, combining dynamic design with innovative spaces for creativity and cultural exchange.
